Guylines (Tent Pitching)

Attached are the theory on how to tie a guyline for tent pitching. Secondary Two cadets take note!

Unit Training 28.05.13

Hey guys! 


Unit Training is tomorrow. Excited to meet your CLs and squadmates? Here are the latest information:

Secondary One
Activity: Camp Briefing and Flag Design
Attire: PT Kit (yellow PE top)
Bring: Writing Materials, Paint Brushes, 1.5l ice mountain water bottle

Secondary Two:
Activity: Tent Pitching and Physical Training
Attire: PT Kit (blue PE top)
Bring: Scissors, Twine, 1.5l ice mountain water bottle

Secondary Three
Activity: Drills and Physical Training
Attire: Half NPCC Uniform, PT Kit (Unit tee top)
Bring: 1.5l ice mountain water bottle

Reporting time for all three squads is before 3.20pm at the parade square (wet weather: fern lounge). Make sure you eat your lunch :)

Impress the CLs and officers, show them that you are ready for training! SEE YOU TOMORROW :D

Secondary One Camp

Are you READY guys?


There will be a BRIEFING for the camp on 28 May 2013. Group flags will also be designed that day so start thinking of ideas! Timing wise will be informed again.

Use tomorrow to start preparing for things you do not have for the camp eg. Green Mug (standardised), Poncho etc. Camp Kit list is attached below. Drink more water and get enough sleep so you are fit enough to conquer the camp. ALL THE BEST, WE WILL EXCEL!

All items listed above are COMPULSORY, unless stated otherwise.
There will be wet activities; pack accordingly on what will be needed.
Cadets are to waterproof all items, putting them into Zip Lock Bags.
Food items like energy bars, biscuits, and Maggie Mee [Cup Maggie is not allowed, only Maggie Mee packs are allowed] are allowed, but not sweets or snacks.
Try not to bring any valuables, if need to, surrender them at the start of the camp. Should any valuables, not surrendered, go missing; the TOs/CIs/NCOs will not be held responsible.
*Any cash bought should not be more than $10.
All Personal Medications are to be passed to the Camp Coordinator at the start of the camp.
