Muster Parade!

Today, on the 26th of December 2014, YTSS NPCC conducted a Muster Parade, awarding our cadets their well deserved ranks and badges. occasions such as these keep our morale high and instill a sense of pride among us. Let us remember what drives us to do our best in NPCC!

Survival Training Camp and Adventure Training Camp!

Welcome back sec 2s and 3s ! On the 7th of November both our secondary 2 and secondary 3 cadets went for the Adventure Training camp and Survival Training camp. It was a fun and fruitful camp! I hope everyone made some new friends and brought memorable experiences back home! And also we have 2 best campers from both the secondary 2 level and secondary 3 level. Congratulations best camper awardees!

1st Unit Training After Exams

On the 21st of October, there will be a unit training. The Sec 1s will be doing their camp-craft on the day. As for the Sec 2s and Sec 3s they will be focusing on their tent pitching in prepare for their upcoming events ( ATC / STC ).

Things to take note :
Fall in in PT Kit attire, bring along twine & scissors and also 1.5 L water bottle. 
Also, make sure that your attire is up to standard, so we do not have to waste our time to re-emphasize on the attire. 

For more details do approach the IC of your squad or the individual squad adjutants. Do ask around your squad mates to refresh on your camp-craft skills Ensure that you have recapped on everything you need to know before the next training in order to optimise your practice session.

Visit to State Court and Family & Juvenile Court

On the 15th of August, 20 cadets from the Sec 3 squad were selected to visit The State Court of Singapore as well as the Family & Juvenile Court in order to experience what happens inside these Courts. We were brought inside a Mention Court in order to observe how criminals were charged according to the offences they committed.


We were then brought to the Family & Juvenile Court in order to observe the different atmosphere and designs in order to give off a vibrant feel. It was definitely an eye opening experience and we hope every batch will get to experience this.

National Day Observance Ceremony

 On the 9th of August, we celebrated Singapore's 49th National Day to commemorate our independence since 1965. The Sec 3 squad as well as 4 cadets from the sec 2 squad went down to Nee Soon East Community Centre in order to participate in the National Day Parade Observance Ceremony. We wore our No.1 Uniforms on this special occasion and we participated in a parade. Let's remember this special occasion forever =D

Visit to Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC)

On 25th of July 2014, Friday, Both secondary 2 and 3 cadets will be attending a visit to Yishun South Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) from 3 p.m. to 5p.m. for their Police Youth Ambassador (PYA) badge. 

Reporting time is 2.30 p.m. at the YTSS Foyer

Attire on that day will be Full NPCC Uniform

Please note that the cadets will be dismissed from the NPC itself. Do remember to your bring along EZ-Link card/Student Pass! :D

Visit to Home Team Gallery

On the 24th of July 2014, Thursday, the secondary 3 cadets will be visiting the Home Team Gallery from 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Two-way bus transport from Yishun Town Secondary School will be provided.

Report to YTSS foyer at 1.15 p.m.

Attire on the day will be Full NPCC Uniform and remember to bring along EZ-Link card/Student Pass! :D

Simulation Shoot

On the 31st of May, 10 Secondary 3 cadets from our unit participated in a simulation shoot in preparation for their Inter Unit .22 Revolver Shooting Competition. The 10 cadets are Shahmee, Ryan, Qi Yi, Roven, Joel, Ning Hui, Chu Ling, Jamie, Cynthia and Dara. Tomorrow they will be having their live shoot, followed by their preliminary rounds for the competition on Wednesday, the 4th of June. Let's wish them luck and hope they succeed!

Campcraft Competition

On the 25th of January 2014 (Girls) and 2nd of February 2014 (Boys), 11 cadets went from our unit went for the Campcraft competition held once every 2 years. They did their best and got a 61 position out of 128 for the girls team and 120 out of 155 boys team that took part in the competition.
I believe that they have put in their best efforts to achieve this result. Good job and continue to work harder ! YTNP JIAYOU!!

Happy New Year 2014

HEY PEOPLE!

So fast is 2014! Hope all of you are ready for school reopen on the 02/01/2014 with all homework done!

What is your new year resolution for 2014? Share with the YTNP family and we could put our efforts together to help you fulfill it!

 Mine for YTNP is that we could clinch top 15 in the campcraft competition 2014 and of course get back into top 10 for the drill competition!

Saying all those, my greatest wish is actually to see everyone smile and be happy everyday!
