Sec 1 Macritchie Reservoir Park Hike

It was a beautiful Saturday morning on the 29th of August when the sec 1 squad took a morning hike to Macritchie Reservoir Park.





It was not an easy feat for the sec 1 cadets as they embarked on a 13 km hike planned by the sec 3 Cadet Leaders (CLs). It has took the sec 3 CLs months to plan for the hike and to get sec 1 squad TO, Mr Ling to approve their proposal. Even though it was physically exhausting, everyone was in high spirit throughout the hike.



It was also the inaugural hike for sec 1 squad in the history of Yishun Town Secondary School Unit. The sec 1 squad had an unforgettable experience and learned the important value of "Resilience", forged many friendships and was exposed to the wildlife of fauna & flora through this meaningful activity.

Nee Soon East National Day Observance Ceremony

On the 9th of August 2015, Nee Soon East held the National Day Observance Ceremony at the Nee Soon East courtyard. YTNP Secondary 2 and 3 cadets took part in the ceremony as the Guard of Honor.

The Parade Commander was Cadet Inspector Lim Yap Kai.

The National Flag escorts consisted of Sergeant Subhashree, Sergeant Tee Feng Ming, Lance corporal Shape and Lance Corporal Fikri. 

The National Flag Commander was Sergeant Sahej Mehandru.

SG50 School NDP Celebration at Bishan Stadium

On the 6th of August 2015, Yishun Town Secondary School, Xinmin Secondary School and Nan Chiau High School took part in the annual NDP celebration cum Combined Sports Meet.

Yishun Town National Police Cadet Corps formed the Guard of Honor contingent for the parade.

The Guard of Honor Contingent Commander was Sergeant Poh Jie Min.

The Colours Party Contingent Commander was Sergeant Neo Yao Wen Edwin.

The State Flag Commander was Sergeant Saran Raj s/o Mohan.

The Parade Second IC was Sergeant Md Luqmanul Hakim, who is also the Student OC of the unit.

The Parade Commander was Cadet Inspector Lim Yap Kai.

The supporting contingents consisted of YTSS Boys' Brigade, YTSS Girl Guides, XMSS National Cadet Corps, XMSS Saint John's Ambulance Brigade, NCHS Scouts and NCHS Red Cross.
