Speech Day Award - Friends of YTSS

On 22/3/16, Area 2 POP for the secondary 4/5 was held in conjunction with Area 2 Oath Taking for the secondary 1 cadets in YTSS.

It was a joyous occasion as 8 schools came together to perform an astounding ceremony under the command of PC, CI (NPCC) Lim Yap Kai from YTSS NPCC.

After the ceremony, it was a time for photo takings and gathering.

Let's wish our sec 4 and 5 cadets all the best in their future endeavors!!

CLTC part 2 and Unit Fun Camp

The sec 3 cadets were tasked to plan and execute Unit Fun Camp this year. As part of their leadership training, they reported a day ahead of the Unit Fun Camp to prepare and discuss with the TOs and CIs.

When the sec 1 and 2 cadets reported for the camp, the sec 3 cadets display high level of competence and organisation skills.

After a series of ice breaker games and self introduction, the cadets were introduced to enrichments such as archery and paintball.

The fun never stop at the enrichments as the cadets also went out of school to partake in YTSS NPCC "Running Cadets"!

The cadets had a lot of fun bonding with their seniors, CIs and TOs throughout the "running cadets" before ending the day with a sumptuous meal at MacDonalds!

Everyone had a good time and is looking forward to the next Unit Fun Camp!!

Nam Hong Flagday

On 12/3/16, the sec 1 cadets participated in Nam Hong Flagday at Yishun. For many of them, it was their first time to perform the selling of flags. They felt excited and happy at the same time to be able to give back to the society! Good Job Sec 1 cadets!!
