CCA Bazaar 2017

On 6th January 2017, YTNP set up a booth for the CCA bazaar so that this year's sec 1s can learn more about NPCC and its programmes. The booth has displays of many awards YTNP has attained over the years. There were also games and prizes prepared for the Sec 1s visiting the booth. Furthermore, the PDS members also performed in the school hall.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who visited YTNP's booth!

CLTC 2016 Reflections

CLTC was very enriching for me and my squad mates, we had to take care of things such as a peanut, rifle, and also our belongings. Thus, we learn to be responsible and take good care of our belongings even when we are sleeping. It was also very tiring and after the second day of intense training, our muscles were all aching, but it didn't stop us as a squad and we endured it. All in all, I feel very accomplish after 3 days of CLTC.

CLTC was a very tough, tiring but fulfilling 3days and 2 nights training camp. Most of us were not mentally prepared for the camp because of not having any training during the two months break but that was not an excuse for not being swift in our actions and taking quite long to pitch the tents on day 1. Day 1 was a tough day considering that we just came back from our holidays but we had to prove ourselves to the Sirs and Ma'ams that the standard we give during the camp will improve. Day 2 was an even tiring day but the all of us bonded as a squad and showed teamwork and resilience during the Endurance Walk, the pitching of tents and the intense training. Even though all our muscles were aching by the end of CLTC, we managed to endure it together as a squad and showed our unity and strength at the end.Overall, I feel very fulfilled and bonded with my squadmates and also learnt how to be more responsible when we were given a small peanut and rifles to take care of and the punishments we got from losing the rifles and every other mistake that we did during the camp definitely taught us a lesson. I hope that we can keep up with the standard that we left CLTC with and continue it for the rest of our NPCC journey and I hope we can become great CLs.
